Driving home today and the sat nav screen went blank and unresponsive. Radio still working, parking sensors still showing on the screen and message about phone displayed. Otherwise nothing. Still under warranty so looks like a trip to dealers unless anyone has any ideas. Thanks

Try switching off the head unit by holding the on/off button for 10 seconds or so, this should re boot the system.

Thanks. Went back to the car an hour later and it was working again!! Oh I do love electronics!! Can't wait for my first electric car!!

My head unit has done this once. I took a video with the intention of going to the dealer if it repeated. It didn’t/hasn’t.

 

Thnigs that happen once, I wouldn’t bother my dealer with. I’m just wasting my time and theirs. Video it if it happens again then head to the dealer. I can guarantee all they’re going to say is no fault found and can’t replicate. You’ve lost a days holiday from work and they could have been dealing with someone else.
