Ambient and instrument light adjustment

Featured Replies

I have found a problem this morning with both my ambient light and instrument panel light where I cannot adjust levels.  It appears that the ambient light is locked on minimum and the instrument light on about 40%. The slider bars respond but nothing changes. The colour change on the ambient works.

I have tried a reboot of Columbus, 'return to factory settings' and 'personalisation' .

Before I arrange the hassle of a dealer visit does anyone have any ideas or come across this glitch before?

thanks in advance

Disconnect the battery for 10 minutes and connect it back. Try this

Update. When I returned to the car earlier last evening the ambient lighting came on OK. Then as soon as I started the car they went off again??? Five mins later they came back on and when I got to my destination I checked and the system is working OK again.

Who knows? Modern  car syndrome I expect but still interested if anyone else has had similar issues.
