Now totally converted to (A rated in the wet) all seasons like the A005.   

Realised summer tyres in UK used all year are now a daft concept.

 

My only problem is finding all season tyres for my other car due to its 215/45 R18 wheels which are rare, currently only Maxxis or Vredestein make the size.  Hopefully will be more choice by Autumn 2019 as too late now to change second car so may as well get some wear out of the Pirelli P7s 

 

 

 

 

Got a similar issue here with my Swift - 185/55/R16 83V - and the only all seasons I've spotted so far that I leke to lok of are Vredestein Quatrac's...

    Decided to take the plunge, the roomster gets a pair of Bridgestone A005 all seasons tomorrow   Looking at the weather forecast, for next week, might have timed this right

    Only way to have traction on ice is to have studded tyres, in the 70s I ran with tyres that accepted studs. Had to swap or remove the studs when it was dry as they did tend to churn up the tarmac.

    I think you may have your numbers wrong here...   A 3db change in noise level is equivalent to a doubling in noise level as its a logarithmic scale of measurement.  I've had bridgestones and Yokohama'
