Anthracite Wheels?

Featured Replies

Reposting in correct section (somehow accidentally put this in the mki section):

I have a 2016 Superb in silver (brilliant silver). The wheels are fairly kerbed and I'm thinking of having them re-finished. However, I'm contemplating having them done in anthracite instead of the standard silver they came in.

The car is an estate and the wheels are the same type as those on the car pictured in the review below:

What do people think? Anyone already done similar with a silver mkiii?

Cheers.

They were available as an option in anthracite (but with a diamond cut edge... this is an Octavia but it’s the first silver one I came across)

Pretty chuffed.

As shown above, I think it works really well with silver or any light colour.

By the way, if you’re after an alloy wheel refurb around Edinburgh I can’t recommend Pentland Powedercoating enough. They did a reslly good job at a great price. Courtesy  car for the day while they did it too along with great comms.

cheers,

Should add, the colour was anthracite but with a metallic lacquer on top. I think the metallic finish make all the difference.
