Thanks

I have found the problem (maybe) the wires into have either come out of the connector or are broken.

So need to replace (or bodge like it has been before by looks of it) the wires and or connector.

Quite common for these wires to get damaged I think, shame you're not closer, I'd happily have a go at fixing that for you.

I'll see if I can find a part number for the connector.

2 wire.

Will go in TPS tomorrow and see if they can find it on the system.

Cheers for the help so far!

Not the right sensor if it only has two wires?

Actually it should be a 3-pin, now I think about it.

Bit dark and raining for me to go take pics at the moment haha

But only one wire is left in the connector and the other wire, well, isnt.

Will try and have a proper look tomorrow.

Is that an AUQ engine code?

If so, there should be a brown earth wire on the middle pin, a yellow/black ignition 12v on pin 1 and a purple/white output wire on pin 3, I reckon

Anyone got an idea of what gauge the wire is?

It's so can get hold of a repair plug.

The ignition 12V is 1mm² from the sensor to a 14-way connector somewhere on the left of the engine bay, but then only 0.5mm² from there to its fuse, the other two are both 0.5mm².

For the short distance of the repair, 0.5mm² for all three is sure to be sufficient. That's 22AWG or 16/0.2 in other units.
