I bought some chrome ones on eBay - don't fit.  Too tight.  The genuine ones are tricky to align but once you have the knack I found all my push on nicely and not loosely .  I think the plastic used has a bit of give in it to flex and help the cover align.

The eBay ones just would not go one with the same approach - so they are going back.  eBay ones made in China with no id inside the covers.  Tolerances too tight and probably plastic too rigid.

Reason for replacing - most of the dull grey ones have white marks - caused by an acidic wheel cleaner I believe from another thread.

I bought some cheap black covers for my winter wheels from eBay. At first attempt I couldn’t get them to fit as they were too tight, but after a nice bath in a bowl of warm water they fitted perfectly.

I bought a chrome set for my Golf off a China site that didn't fit....the seller offered me a refund and asked me to remove my poor review, needless to say I got my refund and the review remained on the site.

Curious thing was, there were other reviews praising the quality and fit....!

Buyer beware.

Buy genuine problem solved😉
