DSG servicing cost

Featured Replies

Looking to possibly buy a vRS TSI DSG soon, but it's close to the 40,000 mark.

Can anyone tell me the typical service cost for the DSG please?

Thanks

My local main dealer quoted £200

Thanks. Was that just for the DSG or was it a combined service?

That’s just for the dsg service I am afraid, not sure what a good independent garage would charge but it’s got to be less than main steeler price

If they quote £200 ask,

are they not a 'participating dealer' but a pith taking dealership?

http://skoda.co.uk/finance-and-offers/service-and-maintenance/simply-fixed

£179  Which is less than £200..

In 'Maintenance'

@ Participating Dealers,

cars over 3years to 10 years old,

on Fixed Servicing.

Excellent, thanks Offski.

Local dealer quoted me £205 but when I pointed out the Skoda web-site stated £179 the lower price was charged.

at what mileage does the DSG need to be serviced?

 40,000 miles

Oh 40000 miles!

I though that was a bloody steep price for a vRS

I do not think Skoda are managing to get the Kodiaq vRS with the Bi-Turbo diesel that VW want to get more life out of by putting into the fat Skoda down below £40,000.
