Insurance on sports cars

Featured Replies

Strangely it would cost me

Think that the much faster car costs more to insure;) (just jealous)

I think Hondas have always been expensive to insure though (parts?).Cheaper than Datsuns (still jealous:D )

Where do I find the thread with all the details about what you've been up too?Lucky sod

Yeah, you might find that in the event of an accident the 350Z will be cheaper to repair (either through cost of parts or just that less of the car will be damaged).

Might also have better security.

Rob.

Been running a lot of quotes through lately and found Honda's to be quite reasonable to insure (with my SAGA discount). Shockingly, I can insure a fully loaded 2001 750iL BMW (mmm V12 power!) worth 14.5k for half the price of an Impreza/Legacy worth 10k.

S2000's are well known for leaving the road backroads due to rwd and a handling setup that is superb in the right hands but can be dangerous for the inexperienced.

IIRC the S2000 has no ESP.
