Fault codes

Featured Replies

Hi folks, just wondering if anyone with prior knowlege can help out.

My car has a habit of running lumpy now and then so I decided to take it to a garage to get checked out. The code P0193a00 was saved, it was then cleared to see if it came back on which it didn't.  Some time after this I had a carbon clean done and the tech who done this told me 2 codes were stored. P0193 and a turbo under boost code. I asked him to clear them and done nothing about them. Then today I had a fault check done again and the p0193 is there again. Has anyone any ideas what could cause this. Car is stage 1 sharked 2.0 tsi 2014

I think a p0193 is a fuel pressure related code. I think this relates to rail pressure. Might be worth checking fuel pressure etc!
