Condensation problem

Featured Replies

Hi had my car a couple of months now and I’m getting real problems with condensation, particularly on the rear passenger windows , which is affecting my visibility when driving. Also I can’t wipe them when I’m driving, I’m worried about the seals. Anyone else had this problem?

Make sure the slider control isn't on the air recirculation setting for starters.

Has the car got aircon?

Thanks yes I’ll check that today. Yes it’s got AC

@bluemoon - Also, when was the pollen filter (if fitted) last changed?

@bluemoon Since you have a new 2018 car best check there is no leaks and H20 getting in, and if there is get the car left with a Main Dealership so that can be sorted out if it is an issue with door seals, windows or windscreen.

Also check the scuttle panel drains are not blocked. Look under the plastic grill at the rear of the bonnet.

I ended up putting a dehumidifier bag on the parcel shelf. Does the job

Thanks all, yes the slider control was on recirculating, think one of kids moved it! It’s now a lot better but not cleared up completely, will check your suggestions above and get the dealer to look at it if I can’t sort it
