Just registered as i’ll be in the market for a Mk2 vRS very soon. 

 

I’ve been doing a bit of googling/ searching on here tonight and am struggling finding what I’m looking for.

 

I’m looking for either A list of options on the MK2 Octavia vRS or a brochure in PDF. Preferably the facelift as that’s the one I’m hoping to get.

 

I’m coming from 2 MK5 Golf GTIs (1 GTI and 1 Edition30) and know from those that almost everything on them was an option and finding the car with the options I can’t live without will be nigh on impossible! 

If anyone has this, or can point me in the right direction, that would be awesome.

Sorry, don't have a option list in pdf form, but I do have a fairly well spec'd Facelift MK2 vRS, so there's that.
Options if its a Facelift model or not (FL or Pre-FL),  will depend on the year and as I think some might not have been available in earlier years.

 

In terms of components and features the Pre-FL models are very similar to a Mk5 Golf and the FL's a Mk6 Golf.

 

As standard I'm pretty such all Facelift vRSs came with:

 

Xenons with AFS

DLR (part of the vRS only body kit)

XDS and Hill Hold (after 2012 I think) 

 

Off the top of my head you could spec the following options:

Safety

Curtain Airbags

Automatic Headlights

Automatic windshield wipers

 

Convenience

Parking sensors - Front / Rear / Both

Heated Seats - Front / Front and Rear

Dual Climate Control

PTC Heater

Automatic foldable mirrors

 

Performance and Driving

DSG automatic gearbox - Came with a multifunction steering wheel as standard with DSG, features radio and Maxidot controls on the steering wheel

 

Entertainment 

RNS 510, Radio with Navigation, supports a visual display of parking sensors 

RNS 510, Digital Radio variant 

Bluetooth

 

Other

Full leather interior 

Full sized spare tyre

Towbar and electrics

Fake floor and storage for the boot

Roof rack

 

I'm not sure about the Multi Function Steering Wheel (MFSW) on non-DSG models or if cruise control was standard.

 

 

Xenons aren't standard on the vRS. Only the L&K got xenons as standard...

 

To be honest, the vRS isn't a great spec as standard. What are you looking for it to have?

ideally I’d like maxi-dot, MFSW, xenons, heated seats if leather, but if cloth not too fussed. 

 

Not sure on DSG or manual yet as I’ve never driven a DSG before so will hopefully have a test drive sorted today on a black one in Castleford.
