Recently, I purchased a Octavia Rs in Sydney MY18.5. But yesterday I found that I can see the Aux-in port in my car. I have searched around the car.inside out, still no found. Anyone can tell me what is reasons?

A manufactured mistake or as normal? but i can see some photos in others have one which are the same year made.  please let me know if you know the problem,thanks.

They don’t come with them anymore afaik. Only a USB slot.

@SashaGrace Thanks for your reply. But I can see some ads in Carsales shown me that some same year models still come with AUX-IN. So confusing.

Not confusing according to online brochure. Australian configurator lists USB but no mention anywhere about Aux In.

VAG group is ditching AUX in 2019 models. You can add one with OBDeleven on your MIB in options, and have some one connect and rout the aux. It won't look nice but if you really wont one.

 

With Bluetooth I think there is really no need for an AUX this days.

This is true, however as we have learned recently from another member, Skoda sell cars in some parts of the world with no Aux or Bluetooth. If you wanted it and you don’t have it, then have it enabled with VCDS and get the trim and Aux port from a breaker car, put the USB back in place and the factory Aux port look is there. I can honestly say I’ve never used the one in my car, but it has BT, an SD slot and SmartLink.

Because I am an ear-phone and MP3 Player lover so I actually prefer to connect my Player by 3.5mm cable to obtain batter quality of sounds. But anyway, just a little change for me and it still a nice manual car. Thanks everyone.

before departing with your money just remember whatever adapter cable you use, you'll be plugging it into a socket which has a 10 cent bell wire going to the amplifier.
