Hi I have a Skoda kodiaq edition 2.0 DSG190ps white. Love it but its started making a noise. When I first reverse then break you get a clunk then u go forward you get the same clunk if u can imagine you break pads were loose that's the noise but Skoda say there nothing wrong with them it only happens when u go back then forward if u keep then going forward you Neva hear it again till you go backwards can any one help

I had my Kodiaq in with Skoda for a squeaky seat base the other week.

Whilst on the phone booking it in they were keen to tell me they'd had quite a few complaints about unusual noises when setting off that were electronic handbrake related and therefore perfectly normal.

My Kodiaq doesn't make the noise you're describing. If it didn't used to make the noise before, but now does, then something has changed and therefore needs fixing in my opinion.

Thanks for reply I have a squeaky driver's seat but it's coming from the left side of the driver's seat where it catches the centre console. This is probably because am on the heavier side of 18st or coz I like to have a higher ride. I have had the car in for inspection but they say the breaks are fine.
