Hi i seem to have a diesel leak from which seems to be coming from some where possibly from under the driverside front wheel any ideas that are common for leaks from there nothing visable from up top.

Two things come to mind:

 

1) the diesel fuel filter housing is mounted at the front right hand side of the engine bay (or the left if you're looking at it from the front) so if this was leaking (possibly from the top seal or pipe unions) the fluid would look as though it was coming from just in front and slightly inboard of the front wheel.

 

2) is it definitely diesel and not brake fluid? both look and feel the same on fingers but definitely smell different.
