MY19 vRS Background Lighting...

Featured Replies

I have to big up @SashaGrace at this point, because my MY19 went from 16 colours to 32 colours after a visit to Wales!  The fun and games is that the lighting RGB colours don't actually match up with what is outputted, so that does take time.  I'm going to see if I can retrofit different modes to colours on my MY18 (if it sticks around).

Is that picture from when you did mine Sasha?

You can if the CAN Gateway is new enough and we can flash newer if needed :)

No that’s my car :) Same colour palette though.

Hi,  sorry for bumping an old thread with my first post.  I've got a Passat B8 (same steak,  different sauce) with factory Ambient+, and this thread has been invaluable in changing the colours for the driving modes.

It's all working perfectly... except,  Fahrprofil_0: 5 - Coming/leaving home (door open and car off) - on my car,  it just shows whatever colour profile I have last selected and not the colour I designate.

Would any of you guys know if there is a parameter elsewhere that I need to update to get this "profile" working?

Any guidance is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Mike
