Featured Replies

1. I open the Waze application, I look at which Neste today what is the price.
_ on the highway is always more expensive and the city "discount" walks around.
2. I'm going to the fuel station.
3. insert the card and enter the pin code.
4. I approach the car and, surprise, surprise, the gas cap does not open.
_ temperature is only -10°, but the car is washed over a week ago
_ and during this week there were also pluses, the excess moisture should have disappeared.
5. I am going to the dealer, the benefit is only 1 km, but on Saturdays it opens only at 10:00 :(
6. I called a friend with a garage, woke him of course, asked if there was a 220v outlet,
_ and accordingly warned about the visit.
7. I drove home to borrow a hairdryer from my wife.
8. 5 minutes blow warm air and woo-a-la, the lid opens.
9. drive again to fuel station.

Another option is to carefully wax the cover and surround as this should help reduce the amount of water collecting between the flap and body.

Safer than getting nicked for flashing......

Make sure to stick it on your hate list ;)

I find it incredible to believe that the OP has never suffered frozen locks before. We rarely go much below -5 in the UK but over the years I have been found blowing into frozen locks in an attempt to thaw them.

Perhaps the OP should tell us now what he proposes to buy next.

Of all the reasons I have for not liking BMW, stick farting wasn’t one I’d ever considered.

Same issue with iV power flap at front...resolved with judicious use of a kettle of warm water.
