Hi, we have a 2016 Octavia III 2.0 TDi (Amunsen infotainment) which has started to have some problems with selecting options on the maxi dot display using the steering column especially when using the rotary wheel to scroll through the options which is intermittent at best. Has anyone had a similar problem and know how to fix it before we rush off to our local dealership?

There have been a fair few instances of people needing the steering controls replaced under warranty. I dont know what makes them go wrong, Ive been lucky on my 2016. If its under warranty you should be fine. Get back to the stealers for a repair.

As above, the steering Wheel buttons & scroll Wheel dont seem to be the most reliable & will probably be replaced.

Quite a few similar issues on the forum on the more recent models.
