With this mod, we can change the behavior of the throttle. Option B offers more linear acceleration without sudden deliveries.

A - Gradual, time controlled (this is the one that comes standard) We

B - Directly, controlled by threshold value

Default throttle response was driving me crazy as it made no sense to me - I like direct throttle response

Enter Extended Coding
Access byte mode
In byte 1 , set bit 0
Confirm , code 25327

 

As soon as I enter code '25327' I get "Engine RPM too high" message in OBDeleven

VOLTAGE LIMIT START STOP DEACTIVATION

IMPORTANT : Deactivation of the S&S through this mod is permanent, as long as the default value is not restored. The mod prevents the system from being activated.

1. Go to Module 19 - Data diagnostic interface .
2. Select Safety Access: 20103
3. Select Adaptation
4. Select Initial Voltage Limit Start / Stop
5. Enter value 12 6. Confirm the changes.



This function is the one that deactivated the Start Stop when the battery is low on charge, so it has a value of 7.6, when this value is raised and in normal conditions, the battery does not activate the Start Stop.

 

 

But as soon as I enter "Select Safety Access: 20103" I get a "Engine RPM too high" message in OBDeleven

 

I am using OBDeleven v0.23.3 on android phone connected to bluetooth OBD module (white one)

 

 

Does anyone know how to bypass "Engine RPM too high message" in OBD? If I shut the car off, then OBDeleven loses connection to the module and I am unable to make any changes

Are you saying you have the engine running when carrying out these mods, and not just the ignition on as is normal.

Yes, the engine is running. I cant get ODBeleven to connect to the module when I have just the ignition on (I presume module does not get any power?).

you were right after all, the engine was running but just the ignition was enough

 

I made following changes without issue:

 

DEACTIVATE START/STOP - START/STOP icon still lights up on intersectons, but the engine is NOT shutting off
1. Go to Module 19 - Data diagnostic interface .
2. Select Safety Access: 20103
3. Select Adaptation
4. Select Initial Voltage Limit Start / Stop
5. Enter value 12.6 (from 7.6 to 12.1 kodiaq)
6. Confirm the changes
