windows open on return to car

Featured Replies

I parked my car in the supermarket car park this afternoon, when I returned to the car after shopping all of the windows were open, just about an inch open, now as i'm walking back to the car opening it up with the key fob I have a habit of repeatedly clicking the open on the fob, can anybody tell me if this is the reason the windows opened or is it a sign of something more sinister, i.e somebody messing with the car.

There's a comfort option to open windows apparently.  I've disabled it and you're not the first to be caught out by it!

If you keep the unlock button depressed for a few seconds it will lower all the windows. Handy for when you return to your vehicle and it has been parked out in the sun for a few hours.

Not so handy if it is done accidentally and it is raining.

You can also raise all the windows if you depress the lock button for a few seconds.

I'd probably think about investing in a fidget spinner.

thanks for the info fin69, i'm just thankful its something i've done, and yes I need teach myself to stop fiddling with the key fob

I've had this before and it turned out to be a low battery on the key fob.
