Wrapping the roof rails not an option?

Always an option, would prefer to get it done “properly” if possible.

I think a wrap might not take too well to the textured finish of the rails , well my black ones are textured. Was wanting to do the sills and lower bumpers etc but was told no

The Kodiaq's chrome roof rails are very smooth.

My dealer adviced *not* to replace the roof rails with the VRS version as I asked. It would be too much work, taking out the headliner. They advice to get it wrapped and have done so for a number of previous customers without complaints. So wrapping it black is the plan once I get my car in a couple of weeks.

I am also having the roof and A-pillars wrapped in black.

I wouldn’t think it would be too hard to drop the head liner enough to into the fixings . I’ve dropped plenty of head liners in my time for multi media installs but never removed one . Wrapping would be straightforward on silver/chrome smooth trims but my black ones are textured rough finish don’t know it wrap would take to it or last

So just had a reply for the roof rails. The gloss black aren’t on the system yet but the satin black are available for a bargain £642.46 inc vat for the pair!!

The black badges look fantastic, I have a meteor grey sport line and I think I need to get a set.

Quick question, is it a simple hairdryer and prise the badges off job?

Yes they are quite well stuck but easy enough once warmed up a bit . I used a plastic trim remover to lift it up enough to get a grip with my fingers and came off easy with no mess behind . Some of the sticky adhesive pad peaked off the badge too but it would need replacing anyway if you wanted to put them back on
