Even though we record most stuff that have ads and FF sometimes you still can't avoid them.

I'm really disappointed with Amazon. I've had three parcels delivered from them recently and they've all come in ordinary cardboard boxes, not the Jackson Five impersonating ones.

 

And I'm an Amazon Prime subscriber.

 

Well, I've agreed to a 30 day free trial, but still!

Keep an eye on this.. they wont tell you its expiring, just start charging you for the pleasure!! Had quite the kerfuffle with them over it when my wife agreed to the free trial without even knowing she had, until they started billing her!

You can cancel your subscription before expiry/renewal, the same day as you take the trial if you want, so you don't forget and get caught out, your trial will still last the 30 days but not auto renew.

Just go into your amazon account and prime membership settings and cancel membership.

Yeah they're really sneaky with the Prime bate and switch. And I say that as someone who pays and is happy with it.

Swmbo's issue was that she just clicked next to pay for an order... didnt even know that, by clicking the "next" button it was adding the trial... the "next without prime" button was a plain text hyperlink waay down the bottom of the order page when i faked an order to see what had happened.

 

They did refund us, but still.. shady...

Finally saw that amazon ad with the singing boxes last night..  yeah thats gonna get annoying quick.

 

 

Why do all perfume/aftershave ads need to have ridiculously dressed people gettin naked? Im not bein old fashioned or prudish... im only in my mid 30's.... but thus selection smelly stuff ads is just gone bat****..
