Hi my name is Nick and I'm currently waiting for the delivery of my VRS245 manual estate. I'm currently driving a BMW F10 520D which I love but practicality has become a issue with two children under 3. I've been looking for a replacement for months and found nothing that ticks all the boxes like the VRS does, its in Quarty Grey, red stitching and the only option is the spare wheel. I'd like a few more options but didn't want to wait for a factory order. Hopefully should be collecting it the week before Christmas so that's my present sorted.

Good Choice Nick ... we share the same County and a previous history of BMW ownership  .  Now on my third Skoda and would not consider returning to the BMW fold

I'm hoping to be moving down to Cornwall soon, fantastic place to live. I used to drive  a BMW X5 but I don't need all that oomph for heaving towing any more so much to everyone's surprise I said I was going for a Skoda Octavia SE L as it seems just as comfortable (albeit a little lower driving position) and has all the bells and whistles I need (I love heated seats). Enjoy it when it arrives.

Thanks for the welcome. I will be gutted to hand the 5 series back, its been a great car but the kids come first but I'm really happy it worked out that I could get a VRS. My missus wasn't too happy that it doesn't have heated seats but going back to fabric seats should be better. I've only been waiting a couple of weeks but I'm inpatient already ha ha. 

 

Just need to sort out some mats, boot liner and somehow figure out how I'm gonna fit dvd players to the bucket seats.
