Limp Mode

Featured Replies

Hi

My Skoda Octavia 2010 1.6 diesel greenline had the flashing coil light and has gone into limp mode.

Had it put on diagnostic machine and it's given me two codes:

1.P0101 - Mass air flow circuit range/performance

2. P2279 - Intake air system leak

Someone said it might be the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor so had that changed but still no joy.

Any ideas what it could be? Have had the EGR and DPF deleted and remapped about a week ago which is when this happened. Could that be the cause of it?

Thanks

Waqas

Hose or pipe come off or split ?

Get someone to give it a rev and listen for a leak, usually fairly obvious.

Checked that smc998.

Had RAC come out to check it yesterday and they said even though it's the above faults it could be the EGR valve even though it's been deleted?

If I took it back to Skoda would it cause me a problem for having the EGR and DPF deleted and the car remapped?
