Can someone with a FL VRS please explain what happens when you press the VRS mode button? I'm looking to get a new switch pack which has the front parking sensor button on, but the only one I can find has a VRS mode button whereas my Scout just has a Mode button. I'm wondering whether I can just switch the buttons round from my original to the replacement.

Switches between the drive modes - eco, normal, sport and individual. 

vRS mode and mode is the same thing, just the vRS one says vRS. It does the same job. You can swap the button row easy enough.

Cool, thanks guys! Now I just need to get the courage to drill holes in my bumper...!  Might be a spring project though, as the adhesive for the sensor holder recommends a working temp of over 15c.

Yikes, Front parking sensors and rear view camera ordered... Christmas/New Years project here I come!

cars-equipment. Remains to be seen how well made the loom is. If the pictures on the website are anything to go by, I'll be doing some wrapping.

 

I'll have the specific parking sensor hole cutting tool available once mine are fitted... 

There’s a specific tool?? I was just gunna drill holes  There are only 2 to drill on the vRS as I’ll need to get new fog light trims to do it properly. There are a pair on eBay though...

This tool should hopefully eliminate the risk of paint damage around the hole. You drill an 8mm pilot hole, then use this manual tool to cut the hole from the outside in.

I await the review of your experience  tbh I’ve been sort of idley looking for another front bumper as mine is in poor condition with prior paint repairs and more stonechips than paint these days. If I found another bumper compete with a set of sensors and the loom it would save some money in the new parts department and I could have it painted at leisure and possibly come out of it with another grill (maybe a better one as mine is cracked) and a whole other bumper to sell off. We’ll see how it goes
