I love this time of year.All those owners in the bottom half of the survey come out to say it is a flawed chart.....the 'top' cars are only there because people have such low expectations of them and the shock of them working every morning causes people to write to Auto Express:rolleyes:

Err....good theory,but it doesn't explain Lexus,BMW,Honda (especially) and other top makes coming up trumps.

Because most Honda Owners have retired or are about to , they have more time to fill in questionaires. They like the flat cap as standard in the glovebox and the plastic dog liner in the boot.

Going on the retired persons 'having time to fill the surveys out' theory - that could be why Skoda do so well too, as round these parts the average Skoda driver is so old they need to be winched in and out of their cars*.

*Jason and a few others on here being notable exceptions to the rule
