It's on a 2010 skoda scout

the drive c/v- flange is on a snap ring into the unit so I guess (not done it)   a lever -padded with a bit of wood on the box casing and pry / tap   snap rings are often tight the first time  hope this helps   ps fairly large oil seal behind

Can't find any snap rings at all hate scouts lol

the snap ring is on the end of the splined shaft INSIDE the box  bit like an old Mini cv joint to hub fixing   ie on the other end of the greasy bit in the photo   two pry bars 180 apart would be better than one    or a bigger hammer  :giggle:

The driveshaft is held in place with a circlip like this:

You need to compress this circlip to remove the driveshaft, to do this get someone to pull the driveshaft gently away from the diff, now with a couple of pairs of molegrips etc clamped to the driveshaft hit the molegrips firmly with a soft faced hammer, this will compress the circlip and the driveshaft will pop out.

Anyway iv got 5 bearings in cant get the last one in with 5 bearings in its solid I can't get the 6th one in

I think you ill have to remove the CV from the drive shaft and this should allow enough movement to get the last one in    ps I would want to replace the large oil seal behind each cv anyway
