No issues at all with my MAC done it 3 times now.  Extract the zip file to a local folder using WinRAR or Unarchiver and copy the files to the SD card

Did you copy the all the files/folder from the zip including the .txt file? As I said done this 3 times now with no issues and just update today with the 2019/20 maps

Yes I did that. I will have to speak to Skoda .  So far they have been of little help except to say they will do it for £110,!

I’ve done it a couple of times on a Mac now and had no problems, but followed the instructions on the Skoda portal website to the letter.

Didn't need any special unzipping software, just the OS’ inbuilt software.

Just format the SD card as FAT32 in disk utility, copy the files over and all should be good.
