Drivers side door seal replacement

Featured Replies

Hi,

Thanks for having me in your forum.

I've got a bit of a problem in that on holiday my wife locked the keys in the boot. We called local locksmith out who chewed up the driver's side door seal and scratched the inside of the door, charged me £50 and buggered off without getting me into the car.

The car is a leased 2017 Superb estate and due to be returned June 2019 and I know Skoda will probably charge me a hell of a lot to replace the seal.

I've tried on line to find a new seal but so far have failed.

Can anyone suggest where I can get one from Please (obv. one that would keep Skoda happy - not a generic one)

Thanks in advance

I think you are going to have to buy new from the dealers or put in a request through parts finder for a breaker that might have one. Have you asked the dealer how much it will be?

I ride a bmw motorbike and some of the parts are criminally expensive, but some seem to be really cheap. The dealer might surprise you but you’ll never know unless you ask.
