Skoda Octavia 2014 power steering fault

Featured Replies

My red power steering light & esc light has come on ,resulting in no power steering. I don't know if it's a ECU problem. I know my track rod ends need doing could this be causing the problem ??

A y advise would be helpful thanks.

A 2014 might be a MK3 rather than a MK2.

Still, the best plan is a scan with VCDS or similar to check for fault codes.

Had it checked again today came with airbag module which somehow makes you lose power steering & esc (modern technology eh)

Had it plugged in today & its come up with airbag module which somehow interferes with your power steering hopefully it only a loose connection.
