Extreme RS Wheel 20'' for Sporline

Featured Replies

Hello,

New Kodiaq RS has 20-inch Xtreme alloy wheels as standard.

https://www.google.com/search?q=extreme+rs+wheel+kodiaq&rlz=1C1RUCY_slSI744SI745&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjtwPjmi9bfAhWxw4sKHSN5DBoQsAR6BAgEEAE&cshid=1546672458129000&biw=1536&bih=750#imgrc=cIGfMwcfMWDYzM:

I want to know if i can buy in future this 4 set 20-inch Xtreme alloy for my Kodiaq Sportline 1.4TSI DSG MY2018?

https://eshop.skoda-auto.com/cz/en/b2c

has not this option for  Xtreme

Thanks...

The wheels still do not "fill" the wheel arch.

Whilst the accessory part numbers can take longer to filter through and become stock items, the spare part equivalents will be available to order now.

There is a vRS at Pulman Skoda in Durham so the part numbers for the wheels should be obtainable.

The difference between spare part prices compared to the accessory brochure prices can be huge too. Its almost always cheaper to purchase alloy wheels using the spare part number.

The best way to get the part numbers will be to ring your local Skoda parts department with the reg number of a vRS.

Superskoda do the 20” SportLine wheels already, so with time they will probably do the 20” vRS wheels also.

Do any SUVs fill the arches? isn’t that the point of an SUV?

Having coded a SportLine Kodiaq on 20s recently they do look huge and straight away I noticed they were bigger than the 19s.

Yes, the white SQ7 I saw on the M5 the other day... which was lowered to the point that it was literally only just taller than the Food Focus in front of it.

Looked totally stupid with the wheels disappearing into the tops of the arches, and I can't for one minute imagine the ride is anything other than very harsh.

Well, indeed. Unless you're an idiot, like the person in that SQ7.

I bet he would be gutted that you didn’t think it looked kool :D

Someone needed to tell him that white Audis went out of fashion a couple of years ago...

So is White no longer the free colour?

Probably. But when you're spending that sort of money on an SQ7, I'm sure you can afford a different colour choice.

Although he evidently saved all his extra pennies for the cost of completely ruining the car once he got his hands on it.

I had noticed the kodiaq on all models the wheels sit very far in the arches compared to similar cars such as Tiguan , Ateca etc no idea why though ?

I guess it's simply Skoda's choice of styling.

No doubt the chassis, hubs and axles etc. are all similar to the Tiguan, but that the bodywork extends out and over the wheels further.
