Passanger side window one touch doesn’t work, but global closin-opening does.

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

I have a weird issue, my passenger side window’s one touch function doesn’t work. No matter which switch I use, driver’s or the one on the passenger door. All the other windows work properly. On top of that Global closing and opening works on all 4 of them without any issues.

any ideas?

i tried resetting it but doesn’t do anything. Thought about switch issues, but both of them? Almost inpossible IMO.

thanks

I managed to find the issue. Plugged the car into VCDS. It looks like this is how the car left the factory. One touch operation was disabled for the front passanger door. I changed it to active and voila. It works.

happy days

One touch closing is a menu option. Probably just needs a tick in a box.

Convenience windows? Yes, but not one touch. It has to be activated through VCDS. Unless the factory software is 100% and it is already active.
