He's A Pride To His Mum

Featured Replies

Having failed to upload images from a host site in anything but thumbnail size (I did select the 1000 x 700 option) of Willberpog in all his new shiny glory. I did upload some attachments in an older thread but sadly nobody has looked at him and he is very upset. I know he

I would suspect that what is upsetting 'him' the most is that you keep reffering to it as wilberpog?

He is a very handsome boy

Where's the vRS badge?...................................only kidding, nice looking car you got yourself but that name has got be changed, by deed poll if necessary to give the poor blighter a bit of street cred!.

Hello all, I

Very nice. The colour suits it quite well.

I'm now leaning back towards an octy as my next car so it'll be very similar to your "willy" but with a few less options

Of course he's gorgeous - he's the exact double of mine! [externally]. Told you you'd like Sahara - wait till that Summer sun glints off it after you've just polished it - for 5 minutes it will look just great - then it will rain - oh well.

Thank you peeps, Willberpog will now purr with pride, he was feeling a little inadequate I think, as so many Briskodians have VRs models and stuff. Can I just say that both me and Moo Cow like Willberpog

But you might end up surprised at just how dirty he has to get before he looks dirty - makes my car cleaning get quite lazy now [like the rest of me!]

Your off your rocker darlin

I think the alternative suits him quite well' date=' and he certainly looks like one to me - [b']Octavia[/b]

The real original name goes back even further. It is Og [as in the Far Side cartoons cavemen.] The Will-berp bit got added on after Og discovered curries.

Definitely agree with that...it was the principal reason I choose Sahara Beige for mine ;) ...there are real advantages to having a car the same colour as dirt.

Well I don't think there is anything wrong with the name' date=' after all your driving him - so you know if it fits his personality

Photo's look great by the way

Which hosting site are you trying to use ?? -- I use photobucket - they list links under each photo - so it's dead simple - cut & paste into thread !![/quote']

Thanks Skodaw.

He is indeed, Lady Elanore!

A great relief to see how good he looks in Sahara Beige, 'cos that's what ours will be clad in when he/she/it arrives around Easter - same spec. as yours (though an L&K estate) apart from the SatNav, as we have a TomTom Go which works pretty well and can be upgraded over the next 10 years (which is how long we're reckoning on keeping the Octy 2).

The big question will be the Reg. No. - our Smartie is "Whir" 'cos his reg ends WHR. Our dealer gets a block of Reg. Nos. each month and the last lot were pretty naff - hope there's something interesting coming up in April.

Or should we spring for a personalised number? Anyone got any experience of using the brokers who advertise in the gents at motorway service stations, or of dealing direct with the DVLA? Any horrors we should be aware of? All advice gratefully received....

His little cam covers swelled with pride when I told him of the great lineage of his name.

Well, those adverts could be good leads if you want a reg number ending in POX, SOR, STD, SYP, HIV, CRB, GON, ...

DVLA all the way, simple , cheap , fast & effiecent -- it only took them 2 days to send me the paperwork for my reg

Try newreg. My wife bought a plate for my new octy with it and you just order online and give the docs to the dealer to register the car with

very handsome :D

DVLA is very easy and very efficient (well at least for the Personalised Reg's, not for anything else!)
