Hi all. My driver's side front window has stuck open and will only raise a couple of inches. As it's down, I can't get through the carrier to loosen the bolts holding it to the regulator. I could really do with getting the window back up just so I can drive it and get the regulator repaired later.

Any tips? Would drilling out the plastic rivets holding the mechanism do any good? Is it possibe to jam the window in place if I can get it moving? Any help much appreciated.

Update, I've now drilled out the regulator rivets and the window can move, however it's still clamped so I can't raise it enough to get to the bolts.

Nevermind. Sorted now.
