Steering wheel wear

Featured Replies

Hi all,

6 months into ownership and the steering wheel on my Scout is already starting to wear. there is a patch about the size of a 10 pence piece on the right hand side which looks like it's rubbing away. it's very dar and shinny compared to the rest of the wheel.

I'm going to take it back to the dealer on Friday but before I do has anyone else experienced this issue and if so what has been done to rectify it?

Rob

There’s a whole other thread about it, including at least one person who got it replaced under warranty.

Be sure to comment on the other thread. Your Kodiaq is relatively new, which is a shame as this would suggest this is more than a 'duff batch' issue.

So as not to cause confusion, I'll lock this thread so as to keep the other thread more relevant.
