I'm getting some spares to form an emergency kit (not that I should need it/them of course), but what type do we have Micro/Mini/Blade and what amperages should I get?

 

Looking for a fire extinguisher & First Aid kit as well.

IIRC there are mini and standard blade fuses with amperage ranging from 5 to 50 amps (certainly those in the engine fuse box)

 

You can get a small fire extinguisher and a first aid kit which will fit in the designated straps on the right of the boot. Best having a butcher's on ebay for those, as the Skoda ones are expensive.

I got my fire extinguisher from BQ, was a bit sceptical of the cheap ones off eBay just in case they were full of silly string.

You'll never know how good a Fire Extinguisher is until you use it.   

If you have a fire extinguisher make sure it’s somewhere you can get to. No point in it being buried in the boot if you need it. 

Practical items to keep with your kit are latex gloves, tape and zip ties. A cheap multi tool is useful to have too.

I have taken the plastic bags and shovel out of the boot if that helps but you never know when you might need the quicklime

Yeah, a decent pair of rigger gloves. Nothing worse than trying to change a kacked up flat tyre bare handed. Latex gloves are OK, but if the worst happens and the car drops onto your hand, you'll have a chance of getting your hand out with riggers on.

I think you can get a bracket for a fire extinguisher to go under the passenger seat. I’m sure I remember seeing it described somewhere.
