I have a 2013 skoda roomster won't pick up drive it is an auto had diagnostics done found out it was the mechtronic module can any one suggest a real cheap garage to get it repaired tia

Welcome,

Who did the diagnostics?     Is the Mechatronic Control Unit leaking?  Did they quote on the MCU and fitting it?

(I would not be going to a Cheap Garage, unless Cheap in price and experienced with the gear / software.)

If it was a Skoda Dealership were you told about Service Campaign '34H5'  which some DQ200 7 speed DSG from 2013-2015 might have required?

Has this been done on your car?   Is there a sticker in the spare tyre well showing '34H5' or have you had the car from new and know it has not been done?

It was a software update as a Prevenrative Measure because of Failures of 7 Speed Twin Dry Clutch DSG from the factory filled with Mineral oil.

This was after Service Campaign '34F7' in Europe, and the world wide recall on DQ200 DSG from 2009-2013 to change them to Mineral Oil from Synthetic and do a Software Update.
