Hello people,well i was here 2005 for 10years before going to the dark side.cough cough audi.Well after what can only be described a disaster with said ownership ive come back home to skoda.It honestly feels like my spiritual home(dont laugh) :-) I took the plunge with a 2018(5month old) l&k superb estate 190.It is exactly what it says on the tin from the moment i did the 200mile each way trip to buy and pick up its been superb sorry about the pun!Anyway great to be back and as it always was this site is a wealth of information.

Welcome back ! Let’s have the Audi story then :-) What’s your Skoda history ?

They are the worst,over rated cars/dealerships ive had the misfortune of dealing with! Had an all-road 3.0 diesel from 6mth old,to be fair stunning engine but the rest of the car was in no way a premium brand product.I can say this safely because swmbo has an audi also and trust me hers isnt any better hers has been owned from new.They really think that theyre special and above reproach,i could swear at this point.Mine had the panoramic roof that after 3years of ownership decided to leak,deep joy!! Took car to nearest stealership to be basically told what do you want us to do about it! Ffs it was 54k car literally just 3yrs old bought from audi  6mth old.I was told the frame had cracked and would be 3k to fix,i dont think so! They offered nothing toward a fix so that was me done! that was among other issues i had which like  i say was'nt exclusive to mine swmbo has issues also and will be following my lead back to skoda! Rant over LOL.

Quick update,so ive had the car since early jan and its been faultless.Dont get me wrong it has its quirks ie dsg isnt as good as people think especially in anything less powerfull than the 280bhp version(just my opinion ) The mpg figures are very optimistic lol but really impressed overall and glad to be back.
