Help me identify infotainment.

Featured Replies

I'm not sure which infotainment system is this.

From Skoda's website, my car dashboard looks like Swing Plus but I can't see any SmartLink+ in the menus or settings. Could this be just the Swing?

Wish I could connect my phone then mirror it on the screen for navigation.

Thanks.

Sorry, only swing, I have the same and no connectivity.

Looks like the swing in my 'S'.

No cool stuff but does eactly what it should, play tunes and tune the radio.

Smartlink is optional on the Swing and the Bolero I believe, only it's an option that is fitted standard in the UK market with the Bolero. I'm presuming that @techtone is not in the UK!

This is 6,5 swing that supports smartlink:

In my country you must pay 150€ for activation at dealer.

I honestly have no idea! It's 1.2 TSI 90hp.

@abaxas I'm super satisfied how stable and the system is and sound is great.

@FrankLK Thanks for the info. I will speak with the dealer. I think it's worth it.

If you can enable SmartLink there would be an icon for it BTW. The only way to change that would require a whole new unit. The Swing is a single module though, unlike the Bolero/Amundsen which have a control module in the glove box.

That's the 5" Swing so not possible to activate Smartlink. Sorry about that.

My Fabia SE-L will do smart-link, but only via USB cable. It won't give me any option for it via bluetooth.

It's always wired with Fabia head units. Bluetooth is only for hands free calling and music streaming.

Further to what @teraja said, very few cars can do wireless CarPlay or Android Auto. I know the more recent BMW systems can do wireless CarPlay (but no Android Auto whatsoever, stupidly).
