Hi,

I have a factory fitted Swing HU and a bluetooth module.

Currently when I switch to bluetooth audio the stream works fine, but only "BT-Audio" is on the Swing's screen instead of Artist, Title, etc. And I also can not control the phone(s) via the HU (my phone is a Samsung SM-G361F, wife has Xiaomi MiA1).

Is it possible at all? If yes, then what do I need? Coding mod and/or hw retrofit?

I'm not 100% sure what's needed to get full track info and skip track functionally. I think it's a combination of both the headunit and BT module.

My RNS-310 (3T0 035 191 A) in combination with 3C8 035 730 D/E let me skip tracks but no track info. When I replaced the RNS-310 for a RNS-510, it would show track info too.

At a guess, changing the BT module *might* give you the ability to skip tracks. No idea if the Swing can do track info though.

I've found this post as a probably relevant and sad answer to my question:
