Hi, I'm sure this topic will have been covered but I can't find it. My fabia 1.9 tdi accelerator is over revving. First noticed when I was changing gear. I need some help. No lights on dash. HELP PLEASE.

You could try what I did see here  

• Sticking throttle peddle

 Worked for me . I think the new part (entire accelerator pedal ) retails at over £100 now.

Pedal is fine, well seems fine. I should of put engine over revving?Thanks for your tip to

Pull the accel pedal towards you when it's over revving. If this cures it, used pedal off ebay. I paid £12 and swapped it over myself, very easy

Thanks Yaris, I will try that tomorrow. I've been reading to much about sensors causing problems and it got confusing! 

Nice cheap fix, loads of the pedals on eBay just now. Just need a socket and an extension, and removing the trim. There's a guide on here

Hi my accelerator pedal is fine. Revs go into red when changing gear and revs stay high at times as if I've got cruise control on. HELP PLEASE.
