Lowering springs

Featured Replies

Will mk3 fabia estate springs fit on my mk3 fabia hatchback?

Why not just get ones for the hatchback?

Eibach do a nice set, i’ve linked them on here somewhere before.

As above, still with the correct ones for the car otherwise you;'ll end up with it sitting incorrectly.

I ordered hatchback ones but they sent our estate ones that’s why I’m asking if there’s any difference

Who sent out what Brand of lowering springs for what engine / gearbox combination of Mk3 Fabia hatch?

With Mk2 estates the rear springs were of a higher poundage for the 9 3/4" longer estate.  No idea about what comes OEM or aftermarket for Mk3 estate or hatch.

The short answer is that they will physically fit, but may not lower the car as much as required and/or give a harder ride than the correct H/B springs.

Correct springs for the Hatchback version

For petrol models with Manual gearbox;

For diesel models, or petrol with DSG box;

The diesel engines and the DSG box weigh a bit more at the front end, so have higher weighted springs to account for it. Miss-matching isn't a huge problem, itll still fit, but you might have a wierd ride as a result.
