Hi all, I have just bought a mk2 Octavia elegance 2.0 tdi PD estate and you will find some pics below.

 

I am a Skoda /VAG newbie after having previously owned Hondas and Peugeots. I wanted something more refined than the former and more reliable than the latter, so it seemed like a good option.

 

the reviews I read were very good and I must say it is lovely to drive. There are one or two bits I would like to sort out including the following:

 

fix parking sensors (all of them are clicking so a problem with the control box?)

 

new centre caps caps for two wheels (what is the name of these alloys?)

 

new gear knob as the silver on mine is flaking off.

 

any comments/feedback would be great.

A warm welcome to the Forum !  Also drove Pugs many years ago, first a 305 and then a 205GRD.  No probs with either but it was a while ago.
