60mph, 2,000rpm in 6th gear.

That explains a bit then. There’s bound to be a fair difference in consumption at 60mph vs 70mph.

About 10% reduction according to my own experience at both speeds. Spend £3,500 in fuel on our two cars so saving 10% pays the £280 road tax for these vehicles.
