Yeti Roof Bars - What Roof Rails are people using

Featured Replies

Hi

What are people using for the roof rails on the Factory Yeti Roof Bars? Googling seems to show Mini CountryMan rails fit or just the universal ones seen on e-bay?

Used CRUZ in the past on other vehicles but they do not have a fitment for the Yeti.

Thanks

Mark

I have two sets of extra wide universal bars from EBay. Both cost around £35 and have worked fine.

I added 4 bike carriers to the first set which I used occasionally for the last 8 years without a problem except for the cheepo strap catches failing on the bike carriers.

Needing a set of bars for diy recently, I could have taken off the bike carriers, but so cheap it was easier to get a second set and avoid the hassle.

Just remember the Yeti needs the extra long version, but these give extra length to use each end.

Thanks for the reply, wouldn't happen to have a link for the bars?

Thule aero bars for me ... work a treat.

Thule aero bars for me too. They stay on permanently with a bike carrier.

Ditto.

I just got some universal ones off Ebay and two hakr bike racks

Official Skoda bars here, bought second hand, never have them on unless in use, far to noisy at speed and noticeably worse fuel consumption.

Whispbar Aero X. they stay on mainly for looks, silent and no worries about fuel consumption.

Hi, I fitted the roof bars from our 2012 mini clubman which were just wide enough to go on.

I looked into the roof bar types and found the genuine Skoda bars to be best value for me, bought from Amazon dealer
