Hi Guys,

 

as title - I need to change the driver's window switch and believe I need to remove the door card.

 

before I start, has anyone produced a walkthrough for this?

Pretty sure I've seen one on YouTube as I looked Into this a few weeks ago

You don't need to remove the door card to take the window switch out. You need to lever it out. It actually blocks a bolt that holds the door card on. It's held in with 3 clips on each side, be careful not to stress the plastics or damage it when removing.

does it require a lot of force to remove it?

Yes, but controlled. It’s easy to break a clip or leave stress marks on the trim.

Lets hope the issue i have with the switch is actually the switch
