Elegance and Ambiente I think

1.4 16v 75 bhp is the only engine with auto box.

There are a growing Number of Diesel Automatics though, I Beleive with the exeption of the 1.4 All Octavia II's are avalialbe with a tiptronic transmission and a DSG on the Top Spec Diesels. I Can't think of any Diesel hot hatch to suggest that has an automatic box:confused:

If anyone from Skoda Reads this,

The Fabia Really needs a decent auto

Edit: You can Get Fabia Classics With Auto boxes too

Im sure the next gen Fabia will offer better auto options. A bigger bodyshell and better front subframe arrangement will allow the use of Tiptronic and maybe even DSG.

Or it could be another pointless engine mated to a 4 speed slushomatic:rolleyes:

Alot of small cars have CVT's now, I Drove one and it was cool, Havent seen any on any VAG cars though

Audi use a CVT but not on this platform.

The current auto box is pretty old and it overdue for an update. Most of the newer design boxes are pretty good, the tiptronic in the Octy2 is quite refined.
