warning lights keep coming on

Featured Replies

Hello all

I am trying this site to see if there is anyone who can help me with my problem, my warning lights, thats the engine light, diesel particular light and the glow plug light keep coming on and my car goes into limp mode. I have been to the skoda dealership and have spent a vast amount of money as they have replaced just about everything in my engine. They have been unable to solve the problem and i am currently trying to get my money back. If anyone has any ideas or knows what my problem could be please let me know as i need my car for my employment because i am a taxi driver.

It might be a good idea to tell us what Skoda you drive (model, year, engine type & size and whether it's manual or DSG and whether it's FWD or 4x4)  B)

Has the car been scanned for fault codes, and if so what were they? What components have the dealers replaced? Whereabouts are you?

hello rustynuts

When i took my car to the skoda dealer they put it on their diagnostics machine and whatever the fault was they replaced it, unfortunately the warning lights returned and when i went back they did the same thing with the same result, this happened several times until it became apparent that they were not fixing the root cause, so far i have had an egr valve, exhaust valves, dpf pressure sensor, dpf valve, turbo, fuel pump and all the sensors changed but still the warning lights are coming on, their final comment was we're baffled. Sorry i do not know what the codes are and i live in Chester
