Boot protection

Featured Replies

Hi, could anyone give a recomendation of a good boot protection for the Yeti? My wishlist looks something like this:

- Fits the yeti somewhat without to much modification.

- Covers the back of the rear seats, the sides of the boot and foldable bumper protection.

- It would be really nice if it could be made larger in length in case of the rear seats are folded or removed.

- Not to much installation impact on the interior.

Best regards

Try "Hatchbag"

@Factoryboy63 How do you attach the sides of the protection to the car? I'm guessing by self adhesive velcro and I'm somewhat reluctant sticking these to the cars interior in fear they will leave lots of marks that are hard to get rid of? Any thoughts on this?

Cheers

thats the only thing that lets hatchbag down as unless the interior is ultra clean i had a few issues with the velcro strips , but as my cars a keeper i fitted some push studs that means drilling 4mm holes but has held it fast ,, I'll let the kids worry about the hole when they inherit the car lol

Over the years I've had a couple of hatchbags and they've been very durable although the one for the Yeti wasn't a very good fit so had to go back - it was early days so probably been improved since then. Until recently I had an "Over The Top" in the Yeti. Looked much smarter than the hatchbag which did the job and kept my elderly Retriever nice and comfy but overall I would go with Hatchbag as the better option.
