Oil pressure light issue

Hi to all

I have over 90 different cars in my life but never had something like happen today with my Octavia 1.6 tdi, mileage high, yes. 

I was on the way to Norwich from London and on half way up I have oil pressure light on, it made a three times beep and 5 times flash and gone till next time.

The car was servicing just a hundred  miles ago, all fresh, right level, right oil etc.

On the way back twice happen like light on+three beep+permanent flushing till I just switch ignition on/off and even did not stop.

Get home run to shopping and its not appear anymore.

Any idea?

Have you checked the oil level and for leaks, if its just been serviced something might not have been tightened.

 

I wouldn't be just ignoring it and continue driving, expensive repair if something actually wrong.

I don't know about the 1.6tdi but on petrol TSis it tend to be the oil pick up gunked up.
