2.0 TDI 4WD Estate - exhaust rear section

Featured Replies

The middle box on my car has corroded and needs replaced - it looks like I need the rear exhaust section as it joins the front section just before the middle box with a sleeve. Neither I nor the local tyre and exhaust centre could find this part on any of the on line suppliers - does anyone know if there likely to be any supplier except by going through Skoda official parts?

Thanks

Hi,

Don't know if this will help.

A couple of years ago, the front straight pipe (from the DPF back) fell off due to one end being corroded. Although I didn't ask, I understood that a complete Skoda system was silly money !

I asked around (Sheffield area) for a complete stainless system from the DPF back (they are tailor made to fit the car, having one on my previous car - Subaru Forester) and was quoted £450.

Car is coming up to eleven years old and opinion is that the exhausts last a very long time (you must have been unlucky).

Cheers,

Lloyd
